My intense zeal for the study of technology goes back to my childhood when my father gifted me a personal computer. I was intrigued with the system from day one, dismantled it to know how it was working. While in Grade 6, my computer teacher introduced us to the Internet. I was amazed thinking how all the information around the world has been compressed in a small system. I remember the launch of the iPhone, with Steve Jobs unleashing the revolutionary era in the field of mobile electronics. Now we have come far from when Charles C. Mann was fascinated with programming objects like refrigerators to a time when these mundane objects can actually "talk" with the help of IOT. By that time, I had found my passion in Computer Science. I worked hard and passed my High School with {Percentage} and intermediate with {Percentage}. Hence I decided to do my Masters in Software Engineering.

Here, I learned C, Java Programming, and Python, which gave me the confidence to program right from adding two numbers to creating Chatbots and predicting complex events. I decided to learn more about the fields that put one's problem-solving and analytical thinking talents to the test to stimulate my curiosity. When I studied Data Structures and Algorithms, various methods of arriving at a solution for one problem and deciding the optimal solution enthralled me. I could now convert real-world problems into optimized algorithmic solutions. In this way, I gained ground over the concepts of Data Structures and Algorithms, Computer Programming, Discrete Mathematics, Operations Research, and Digital Design. Full-stack Web Development also excited me.

Studying the academically rigorous classes gave me a solid foundation in the major principles of my degree while also improving my analytical skills. I put in much effort to improve my aptitude for technology issues and my interest in and knowledge of academic subjects, including Cloud Computing and Mobile Technologies. I was particularly drawn to emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

To gain ground on emerging technologies, I worked on a project, where we developed a secured web application for the banking sector by using QR code based authentication. It is mainly developed to prevent the user from keylogging attacks, shoulder spoofing, password cracking, Screenshot Capturing. It was a collaborative project where I served as the team lead. I divided the tasks according to the strength of each member and followed a project management tool to fulfill the duties within the stipulated deadlines. The project allowed me to research different aspects of Computer Security, which brought me concept clarity. The appreciation our project gained in the department was a cherry on the cake. This particular project gave me beneficial insights into advancements in Computer Science technology. During the undergraduate years. I also learned how to visualize relevant information from data, and was introduced to various data processing techniques, and became familiar with different data structures and algorithms.

Coming from the privileged strata of society, I consider it my responsibility to contribute to social causes. Right from my childhood, I have been independently and in association with NGOs volunteering in orphanages. Being an active participant in extracurricular activities, I have managed cultural and tech fests of my college and helped participants of other colleges by providing them accommodation and navigating them through the college during the college fest.

Passing the undergraduate course with flying colours, I chose to join Dextrasys Technologies Private Limited as an Application Developer. After rigorous training, I developed crucial applications for the firm. The work experience gained here helped me get acquainted with the various platforms, and infrastructures used in today's mid level enterprise applications. Thereafter, I joined Stallone Lanka (Pvt) Ltd as an Associate Full Stack Developer. This experience has helped me realize the broad scope of software technology, such as vertical and horizontal scaling, in reducing the cost of several businesses going through cloud migrations. The next step in my professional life was to join DesignBey SL Pvt. Ltd. It was here that I realized that I have the potential to do groundbreaking work in this area and felt the need to take my academic journey a notch higher.

As I started inspecting the best courses around the world, I selected the UK for its reputation for practical pedagogy. My aspiration to contribute to the ongoing advances in Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, and Cloud Computing has led me to the doors of University of Hertfordshire. According to UK News and World Report, the university is ranked in the Top 10 for MSc in Software Engineering and consistently remains the most innovative university. The compulsory thesis-based program would help me quench my thirst to research under eminent professors like Prof______ and Professor ______, whose research interests align with mine. In the next five years, I see myself playing a significant role in the Machine Learning security domain in big tech firms like Amazon and Google and moving on to become a senior leader in the field fifteen years from now.

I look forward to participating in clubs and societies and connecting with a diverse student community to broaden my perspective on contemporary issues and solve them with advancements in Computer Science.
